Casanova
So much more than just the greatest lover...

Bild
Casanova will always be connected to the cliché of the romantic ladykiller who constantly seeks new adventures  – and the women always followed him and adored him even after their affairs with him.
But Casanova was much more talented and his genius is widely underestimated: he studied and graduated in law in Padua but was one of the experts in medicine in his time. As a priest he was less gifted, but very much adored so he tried a new career in the military and as a violinist.  In 1756 he was the first prisoner in history to escape from the lead chambers of the Doge Palace in Venice, which made him famous all over Europe. He introduced the state lottery to France, he worked as a diplomat, author, astrologer, economist, teacher and even as informer for the Catholic Inquisition. His charms, his travels and his encyclopaedic knowledge made him a star of the Rococo period. His favourite lover, Henrietta, tells the story of this adventurous life and some intimate secrets of his success.

Solo programm  (or with partner) of approx. 60 minutes with an extensive slide show. Enjoy the show also with a evening of Italian Canzone or in combination with a Rococo aphrodisiac menue
