Mozart's Constanze

Born on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg, Austria, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a musician capable of playing multiple instruments who started playing in public at the age of 6. Over the years, Mozart aligned himself with a variety of European venues and patrons, composing hundreds of works that included sonatas, symphonies, masses, concertos and operas, marked by vivid emotion and sophisticated textures.
His wife, Constanze, in the eyes of the family a rather inappropriate marriage, tells you about the genius and husband Mozart in her own way.
She spent the remanider of her life - fifty years after his death - making sure that his music was not forgotten. She defended him at every turn, and was responsible for both the founding of the Mozarteum in Salzburg and for making Salzburg itself the Mozart centre of the world. She died in Salzburg, March 6, 1842 at the age of eighty.
